Barnes acted as the primary guide and showed how much an environment can bring into the story. I have always been a fan of how the developers construct Tamriel in The Elder Scrolls Online but being able to walk through with a couple of them is quite eye-opening. Everything was beautifully crafted and told so much story just in the design. The characters are just as memorable, and the story is addicting right off the bat. The world-building is flawless, as is the story it tells. Now, ZeniMax brings players to the southern region, Pellitine, and it is just as fantastic.

Each dungeon includes beautiful new environments, vistas, and challenging battles chock full of stories and lore for the players to dive into and engross themselves within. Both of these dungeons will challenge players as they take on Dragons like the ones that you can find throughout Elsweyr. In Scalebreaker, players will be able to take on two new dungeons called Moongrave Fane and the Lair of Maarselok. No definite release date was given for either just yet, though Scalebreaker is slated for a Q3 release, while Dragonhold should arrive in Q4. Today, Zenimax took to the stage to discuss their plans for The Elder Scrolls Online going forward, including two new DLC packs called Scalebreaker and Dragonhold.Īs the third and fourth chapters of the Season of Dragons in ESO, Scalebreaker and Dragonhold will add new content, as well as introduce players to new stories and questlines that they can experience. The Elder Scrolls Online, which released back in 2014, has been going strong for roughly five years now.
Bethesda’s E3 2019 showcase saw quite a bit of focus on some of the company’s smaller titles, as well as a focus on Zenimax Online’s entry in The Elder Scrolls series.
